In the wake of DJ Durkin's firing, Maryland has hired a national search firm to assist in its hunt for a new head football coach, the Washington Post reported.
Terrapins quarterback Kasim Hill, who twisted his left knee in a loss to Indiana on Saturday, has a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season, Maryland coach Matt Canada said Tuesday. Hill tore the ACL in his right leg last season.
