In a statement, Ohio State assistant coach Larry Johnson denies the allegations by financial planner Marty Blazer, who testified Tuesday that a Penn State assistant wanted to pay the father of former PSU defensive lineman Aaron Maybin so Maybin would stay in college. Johnson was Penn State's defensive line coach at the time. "It is a complete fabrication with no proof or basis in fact," Johnson's statement reads in part. "We will take any and all legal actions against Mr. Blazer for making such slanderous statements to protect my name and reputation, which I have worked for 40 years as a coach, mentor, husband, father and grandfather to create."
