This week's Allstate Playoff Predictor CFP rankings projection (Pct top 4): 1. Ohio State (99) 2. LSU (99) 3. Clemson (98) 4. Penn State (25) 5. Alabama (4) 6. Oregon (13) 7. Minnesota (25) 8. Baylor (33) 9. Georgia (2) 10. Auburn (1)

LSU ranks first in Strength of Record and it isn't close. An average top-25 team would have had just a 1% chance to be undefeated thus far against LSU's schedule. Meanwhile that seem team would have had a 16% chance to go undefeated vs. Ohio State's schedule, the next best. Among the undefeateds, Clemson had it easiest: an average top 25 team would have had a 29% chance to be 10-0 at this point against the Tigers' schedule.

Not only is Alabama very much still alive, but it has the fourth-best chance to reach the CFP and win the national championship, according to the Allstate Playoff Predictor.

No. 13 Minnesota tops No. 5 PSU 31-26 in match of unbeatens

Minnesota's Jordan Howden picked off Sean Clifford in the end zone, the third interception thrown by Penn State's quarterback, and the 13th-ranked Gophers held on for a 31-26 victory on Saturday afternoon over the fifth-ranked Nittany Lions.

Penn State must now win out, including a Nov. 23 win at Ohio State, where FPI gives the Nittany Lions a 19.4% chance to win. If PSU can finish as 1-loss Big Ten champs, ideally avenging this loss by beating the Gophers in the Big Ten title game, they would still be considered for a top-four finish. The loss now drops PSU into the pack, though, with Oregon, Utah, Oklahoma and Georgia - all needing some help. It also hurts the Big Ten's chances of two teams in the top four.
