Kansas State has officially announced Blake Seiler as defensive coordinator. Seiler is replacing Tom Hayes, who is retiring. Seiler has been K-State's LB coach. Brian Norwood, who arrives from Tulsa, will take over as co-defensive coordinator and secondary coach for the Wildcats.

The 22-year-old grandson of Kansas State football coach Bill Snyder was found dead on Wednesday, in a home owned by his parents near campus. The police said there is no foul play suspected at this time.
