ESPN 300 defensive end Ron Tatum tweeted on Monday that he is flipping his commitment from Texas to Oklahoma. The No. 77 ranked prospect had been committed to the Longhorns since April, but is now headed to the in-state Sooners. The move is only days after Bob Stoops announced his retirement from Oklahoma with offensive coordinator Lincoln Riley taking over.

Texas landed ESPN 300 safety B.J. Foster, the No. 36 ranked prospect overall, on Monday. Foster gives the Longhorns 10 ESPN 300 commitments in the 2018 class, which is the third most in the country behind Miami and Ohio State, who each have 12. This is also the fourth ESPN 300 commit in the last week for coach Tom Herman and his staff.

Ayodele Adeoye, the No. 43-ranked prospect in the class of 2018 and top-ranked prospect in Missouri, committed to Texas.

Texas landed a commitment from ESPN 300 linebacker Ayodele Adeoye on Sunday. The No. 43 ranked prospect gives the Longhorns five commitments ranked in the top 100 of the ESPN 300. That is one more than the staff landed in the entire 2017 class. It also gives coach Tom Herman 10 total ESPN 300 commitments, which is the most in the Big 12.
