LSU ranks first in Strength of Record and it isn't close. An average top-25 team would have had just a 1% chance to be undefeated thus far against LSU's schedule. Meanwhile that seem team would have had a 16% chance to go undefeated vs. Ohio State's schedule, the next best. Among the undefeateds, Clemson had it easiest: an average top 25 team would have had a 29% chance to be 10-0 at this point against the Tigers' schedule.

Trump soaks in Deep South cheers at LSU-Bama

President Donald Trump knew where to go Saturday for home-field advantage, finding comfort in the Deep South with college football fans cheering two of the nation's top teams -- and him.

LSU went into Alabama and made a major statement, taking down the Crimson Tide for the first time since 2011 to take control of the SEC West race. The way Joe Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa traded touchdown drives in the fourth quarter made this one an instant classic, but it also proved this is indeed a new era of LSU football.
