The WBA has scheduled a purse bid for the fight between unified junior featherweight world titlist Daniel Roman, of Los Angeles, and mandatory challenge Murodjon Akhmadaliev, of Uzbekistan, for July 2 at its offices in Panama City, Panama. Minimum bid is $120,000 with a $5,000 fee for any promoter who wants to participate in the auction. Roman, who has made four defenses, is entitled to 75 of the winning bid and Akhmadaliev 25 percent.
