Auburn radio voice, wife die following car crash

Rod Bramblett, who served as the radio voice for Auburn football, basketball and baseball, and his wife, Paula, died from injuries suffered in a car crash Saturday night in Alabama, the Lee County Coroner's Office confirmed.

Auburn sophomore Chuma Okeke has submitted paperwork to the league office to make himself eligible for the 2019 NBA draft, a source told ESPN's Jonathan Givony. Okeke intends on hiring an agent, as permitted by NCAA rules, and will maintain his eligibility while rehabbing his ACL at Auburn after tearing it in the NCAA tournament against North Carolina

Auburn has agreed to terms basketball coach Bruce Pearl for a new five-year contract, keeping him in the fold through the 2023-24 season. "Under Bruce's leadership, our basketball program has reached new heights," Director of Athletics Allen Greene said in a statement.

Pearl on missed double dribble: 'Get over it'

Auburn coach Bruce Pearl said Monday on ESPN's Get Up! that human error is part of the game and he has moved past the missed double dribble call in Saturday's contest against Virginia.

Kyle Guy made three free throws with 0.6 seconds left and Virginia pulled off its second small miracle of the NCAA Tournament, beating Auburn 63-62 Saturday to advance to the national championship game for the first time in school history.

Virginia prevails after disputed foul call on late 3

Down two with 1.5 seconds left, Virginia's Kyle Guy was fouled on a desperation 3-point attempt and coolly sank all three free throws to send the Cavaliers to the national title game.

Samir Doughty gives his take on the foul call that sent Kyle Guy to shoot 3 free throws: "I didn't feel no contact. I didn't think I fouled him, but---the refs thought otherwise. And like I said -- I trust their decision, man, all the time. That's why they're reffing the Final Four. But I'll get a chance to look at that myself and I'll judge it myself. I'll be my own ref."
