The workout will be closed to the media, but Fultz will speak to the media afterward. The Lakers hold the No. 2 overall pick in the June 22 draft.

Washington guard Markelle Fultz, widely considered the top prospect in the 2017 NBA Draft, is expected to work out with the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday, a league source confirmed to ESPN. The Lakers, who hold the second overall pick in the draft, also plan to hold a second workout in the coming days with UCLA guard Lonzo Ball. Spectrum SportsNet, the Lakers' television partner, first reported the news regarding Fultz and Ball. The NBA draft is June 22.
