Ten months ago, the New Orleans Pelicans were being celebrated for a commanding first-round playoff sweep of the Portland Trail Blazers. Now, franchise player Anthony Davis has asked to be traded; the man in charge of basketball operations, Dell Demps, was fired; and the Pelicans enter the most important offseason in franchise history.
