Sacramento Kings guard Buddy Hield remains very appreciative of the support he has gotten from people all over the league after Hurricane Dorian tore through the Bahamas earlier this month. Hield, who is from the Bahamas, set up a GoFundMe page page to raise money while donating $100,000 dollars of his own for relief efforts. "It means a lot. It just shows the awareness ... what had happened was devastation. You're not used to seeing a category five coming and hitting the Bahamas. So I appreciate everybody who has reached out [saying] 'praying for your family' or 'thinking of your family' or whatever support they've [given]. A lot of people have done a lot. I think the Sacramento Kings have put a lot of hands on that too so I'm just thankful for everybody that has been apart of that situation I've had going on."
