With Sunday's 49-13 rout of the winless Bengals, Lamar Jackson and the Ravens (7-2) are now one game back of the New England Patriots (8-1) for the top seed in the AFC. Jackson became the second player to produce a perfect passer rating in multiple games in the same season, joining Ben Roethlisberger. He also provided a highlight-reel 47-yard touchdown run, the longest rush by a quarterback since Cam Newton in 2017.

Lamar Jackson also has 367.8 fantasy points through the first 16 starts of his NFL career. The only quarterbacks to score more through 16 career starts: Patrick Mahomes (410.1), Cam Newton (370.3).

With Lamar Jackson's day now done, his 33.4 fantasy points brings his season total to 237.6. That's the fifth-most by any quarterback in history through his team's first nine games of a season.

Lamar Jackson was 10-for-10 passing to start the game before spiking it at the end of the first half. Those 10 completions tied the Ravens franchise record for the most consecutive completions to start a game, according to Elias Sports Bureau. Joe Flacco did so in 2012 vs. Browns.

Lamar Jackson delivered a perfect passer rating (158.3) in leading the Ravens to a 28-10 halftime lead in Cincinnati. Jackson was 10-of-11 for 180 yards and two touchdowns. His only incompletion was a spike to stop the clock late in the second quarter. Baltimore is surprisingly attacking the NFL's worst run defense through the air.

Ravens have the NFL's best run offense, and Bengals have the league's worst run defense. So, how does Baltimore open the game? Throwing the ball on four of its first five plays. Lamar Jackson goes 4-for-4 for 76 yards and a touchdown. Ravens have now scored on eight of their nine opening drives this season, totaling six touchdowns and two field goals.

De'Anthony Thomas, the former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver who was signed Tuesday, is expected to be Ravens' primary punt returner today in Cincinnati. Cyrus Jones, who fumbled a punt last week against Patriots, is inactive. Thomas looked very explosive in bringing back punts in practice this week.

Ravens inactives at Bengals: CB-PR Cyrus Jones, WR Chris Moore, WR Jaleel Scott, DT Daylon Mack, DL Ufomba Kamalu, G Ben Powers and QB Trace McSorley
