Taylor struggles in Bills' loss (1:03)

Mike Rodak ESPN Staff Writer

Bills coach Sean McDermott is not considering a change at quarterback from Tyrod Taylor, the team clarified Thursday night. McDermott said in his news conference after Buffalo's preseason loss to the Eagles that "we're always going to evaluate everything" when asked about a possible QB change. Taylor went 8-for-18 passing with two interceptions in six drives.

Bills WR Rod Streater's left leg is being examined by trainers, and the cart is coming out, after he was tackled on a catch early in the fourth quarter. Streater had been making a push for the 53-man roster during training camp and if healthy might have stood a chance to earn the No. 4 or No. 5 receiver job.

Darby gets INT against former team (0:43)

Mike Rodak ESPN Staff Writer

Miserable night for Tyrod Taylor. He's now 8-for-18 for 53 yards, 2 interceptions and a 12.0 QB rating after six possessions. Taylor's accuracy is way off tonight, resulting in tough catches for receivers and two near-interceptions in addition to his two passes that were picked. Taylor's protection has also been spotty.

Tyrod Taylor's rough night against Eagles continues as he's intercepted by former Bills CB Ronald Darby on Buffalo's fourth possession. Taylor was forced out of the pocket by pressure allowed by rookie RT Dion Dawkins, then underthrew Anquan Boldin down the field. Taylor is now 3-of-8 for 16 yards, 2 interceptions and a 6.2 QB rating.

Slow start for Tyrod Taylor in Philly on Thursday night. Through three possessions, he is 3-of-7 passing for 16 yards and a 10.7 QB rating. Taylor was intercepted on his first pass, which was tipped by a blitzing defensive back. Taylor's accuracy and decision making is not on point, but he isn't getting much help from his O-line, especially LT Seantrel Henderson and RG Vlad Ducasse.

Preseason Power Rankings: Bills hold steady at No. 26

The Bills brought in Anquan Boldin to bolster their wide receiver corps. Boldin will be 37 in October, but at the very least he'll be a nice red zone option for Tyrod Taylor.

Seth Walder ESPN Analytics

The Bills were downgraded very slightly in FPI's latest update, the first since their two trades last week. Buffalo is now projected to win 6.7 games and has a 13% chance to reach the postseason. The team's projected draft slot next year is now 11.6.
