Source: Broncos to deal punter Dixon to Giants

After adding free-agent punter Marquette King earlier this month, the Broncos are set to trade punter Riley Dixon to the Giants for a future conditional pick, a source told ESPN.

Giants are close to acquiring punter Riley Dixon, per source. It will be for draft pick compensation. Dixon averaged 45.6 yards per punt last year. He replaces Brad Wing, who was cut earlier this offseason.

The NFL has done a much better job evening out the pain with the schedule this year. Indianapolis has the worst net rest differential with a net of 11 less days of rest than their opponents and 3 games vs. opponents coming off their byes. Last season the Giants had -22 days with 4 opponents coming off byes.
